Contact information for QcTutorials:
The
tag defines the contact information for the author or owner of a document.
If the
element is inside an
element, it represents the contact information of the author/owner of that article.
The address element is usually added to the header or footer of a webpage.
HTML 4.01 does not support the
tag, so in HTML 4.01 the
tag always defines the contact information of the document's author/owner.
Note: The
tag should NOT be used to describe a postal address, unless it is a part of the contact information.
Note: The address usually renders in italic. Most browsers will add a line break before and after the address element.
The
tag also supports the Standard Attributes in HTML5.
The
tag also supports the Event Attributes in HTML5.
